We caught up with a few of our past and current Thailand teachers to get a rundown on what teaching in Thailand is all about

We caught up with a few of our past and current Thailand teachers to get a rundown on what teaching in Thailand is all about

Teaching in Thailand taught me many things in life, most importantly what you should value most.
The land of the smiles is a place that is easy to embrace their culture and way of life.
From their incredible food to the remote jungles and let’s not forget the super friendly locals, it’s definitely the place to see.
Teaching the kiddos was super rewarding seeing how they progress over the months.
From the teaching staff to the kids, everyone accepts you with arms wide open.
It’s definitely an incredibly journey that will live with forever.

Teaching in Thailand has been an incredible journey. After 4 years, Thailand has become my second home. The plan was to teach for a year and then move on, but I fell in love with the culture, beautiful surroundings, and the relaxed way of life. Moving abroad does have its challenges, but moving to Thailand was easy. With endless job opportunities, cheap living expenses, and amazing people around you, it is easy to see why. Teaching in Thailand has been a very rewarding experience. Being able to watch the students progress and shaping their young minds have been very fulfilling. The children are very lovable and are excited to learn from you. Thailand is a beautiful country that will forever be a part of who I am.

The ability to teach a student something we take for granted every single day had a tranquil effect on my life. Being surrounded by these students and their graciousness changed my life for the good. Students were so humbled by your presence. You find yourself becoming one with your students within a short period of time.
Living in an Asian country is definitely an eye-opener. During my stay, I immersed myself in its culture, people and hospitality. Thailand had such a great impact on my life that I am now going back on a permanent basis. For any person that has this burning sensation to travel the world and experience the different diversities, Thailand is a must. From great street markets, mesmerizing islands, serious traffic to the most humble culture in the world. Thailand will forever remain close to my heart. Alan Bartman
